When black tea was first imported to the Highlands & islands of Scotland, the people continued to brew their heather and combined it with the exotic black tea. The reason was to continue to get the benefits from their blessed heather blossoms, which are known to support the body in a wide range of ways. It's a nice relaxing tea too!
